Our Story

Where we started

After relocating to Berea, we observed a noticeable absence of glass recycling options in the area. Unwilling to discard our glass, we began accumulating it and making trips to Lexington to recycle. Conversations with fellow community members revealed a shared frustration with the lack of solutions for glass disposal. Motivated by this, we initiated our operation from our garage, repurposing used glass into sand, endeavoring to enact change, one bottle at a time.
